Karen accumulated 101 points on her way to the championship. Second place winner was Kim Lundvall, with 89 points.
At the CPHC awards banquet on Nov. 15, held at the Autoport Restaurant in State College, Karen was presented with a championship ribbon, a monogrammed show blanket for her horse Luck’s Ambition, and an engraved bronze sculpture of a horse.
In addition to her riding awards, Karen is an honor student at State College High School.
