In a rambling letter requesting an extension, Mr. Frazier attributed the delay to difficulties in finding a surveyor to survey the property. "Having run out of money to put into it (house and building) I have needed to secure a morgage (sic) on it, which is impossible without a deed, and I can’t get a deed until it is surveyed. I tried every surveyor between here and Texas and 99 percent told me they would be right there.”
