James Boll
James Noah Bolt, 92, of Chester Gap, died Jan. 27 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Mr. Bolt was born Jan. 16,1896, in West Point, Ga., the son of the late William and Alice McCain Bolt. His wife Nannie Lou Betts Boh predeceased him.
Surviving are a son William B. Bolt and a daughter LeMerie Williams, both of Chester Gap, two brothers, W. A. Bolt of Daddsville, Ala., and G. E. Bolt of Newport News, a sister Louise Davis of Pico Rivera, Calif., eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Jan. 30 at the Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. James Burke. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal.
Pallbearers were Hubert Gilkey, Sherman Williams, Joe Williams, Chris Williams, Lawrence Williams and Bruce Williams.
Honorary pallbearers were Albert Cameron, Lovel Walker, Lloyd Campbell, Albert Wines, Stanley Williams and Cedi Williams.
Elsie Lucas
Elsie Clarice Lucas, 86, of Culpeper, died Jan. 29 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
Mrs. Lucas was a native of Rappahannock County but had lived in Culpeper County most of her life. She was a member of Gourd vine Baptist Church.
