‘Aliens’
Aliena, starring Sigourney Weaver, Michael Bain, Paul Reiser, Lance Henriksen, Jenette Goldstein and Carrie Henn, will be playing at the Gay Street Theatre on Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m. This sequel to 1979’s Alien contains more advanced weaponry and is actually a combat film set in space. Writer-director James Cameron pits a platoon of U.S. Marines against an extraterrestrial fiunily of monsters. Sigourney Weaver, as the only human survivor of the spaceship from the 1979 Alien, gives one of her best performances in this visually exciting film.
