Mrs. Thirza Burke Curtis of Baltimore, Md., had the misfortune to fall recently and break her arm. Mrs. Curtis is a former resident of Washington.
Luncheon guests Sunday of Mrs. Frances Eubank were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson and daughter Victoria of Sperryville. Later in the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smoot and daughter Crystal of Lake Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Hitt of Woodville joined the family for cake and ice cream to celebrate Mrs. Hitt’s birthday which was Sunday, Feb. 1.
