Richard is torn about where he wants to live after graduation. The job situation in England is very bad - but he really likes living there.

Eleventh grader Berit Waage Skovgaard of Rommerup, Denmark, is a member of the high school’s newspaper staff, a chorus member, a Girl Scout and a church youth group member. She was a Girl Scout for six years in Denmark and is very happy to be able to continue her participation in this country.
A church youth group is new to her because there are few church-related activities for young people in her country. She noted that the Americans are much more religious than the Danes. Few Danes attend church regularly or say “Grace” in their homes.
“I chose to come to the U. S. because it is a country which plays an important role in the world and therefore also in my life. By learning about you and your country, I am trying to get a better understanding of what you stand for. I am not only learning about your country but also about myself and my own country.”
Schools in Denmark are not divided into elementary and high school, so all students go to the same school. Her school there was a little smaller than RCHS. However, it lacked the school spirit which she found here.
