That phrase bothers me, and it plays havoc with some people's internal clocks!
Daylight can be altered by turning of clocks, but saved? People art always telling us how to "save time." We are encouraged to purchase "time-saving devices," “time-saving machines," and “time-saving schedules."
But can you actually "save time?” Where do you store it? How do you file it? Or bank it?
