Fashion show Sunday, April 5
“Bon Voyage” is the theme of the annual fashion show sponsored by the Rappahannock Woman’s Club, which will be held Sunday, April 5, at 2 p.m. Fashions are by Frank’s and Warren Quality Shop of Front Royal, Jack & Jill of Culpeper, The Second Look and The Peppermint Stick of Madison.
The show will be presented at the Rappahannock County Elementary School and proceeds will go toward the Woman’s Club scholarship and Rappahannock Area Little League Baseball safety equipment. Advance tickets may be purchased from any member or at the Rappahannock News office.
Fodderstack 10KM
The annual Fodderstack 10KM classic race will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 10 a.m. The race begins in Flint Hill on Route 522 and ends at the courthouse in Washington, via the Fodderstack Road.
Any individual, business, or organization wishing to sponsor a trophy for the Fodderstack 10K Race is asked to do so by mailing a check for $20 to Rappahannock Recreational Authority, P.O. Box 145, Sperryville, Va. 22740. If you desire to sponsor a specific category, please indicate the age group.

Dance at Amissville
The band Royal Tones will play for a dance sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department Saturday, April 4, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Proper dress is required and persons attending must be 21 years of age. For reservations or additional information call 937-4357.
Woods and Water at Middle St.
“The Woods and Water Show” will be opening at Middle Street Gallery on Saturday, April 4, from 7-10 p.m. Pam Woods, a gallery artist who lives in Farmville, will be exhibiting wild, wonderfol and serious drawings of prehistoric fish, 17th century fish, contemporary fish and a terrifying shark.
Gallery artists will also be showing sculptures, photos, drawings and paintings on the theme of water. The show will continue through April 26 and is open for viewing Friday through Sunday from 11-6 p.m., or by appointment. Call 675-3440 for information.
