Seventh grade teacher Mrs. Katz said, “The students eagerly awaited her daily arrival. ”
Mrs. Rogers eiyoys working with the school children because she feels there is a need for this type of instruction. She said, “I just get a 'kick out of it. It’s fun and rewarding.”
The students showed their appreciation to her by giving her flowers and thank-you notes at the week’s end.
Mrs. Rogers, her husband Kenny, and three sons are opening a craft shop, The New Studio, in Old Way Craft Village in Sperryville. She is an active SPTA member and has done many special projects.
