PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at 8:00 PM on the 6th day of April, 1987 in the Rappahannock County Courthouse in Washington, Virgnia at its regularly scheduled meeting, the Town Council of the Town of Washington, Virginia intends to enact an Ordinance which effect would be to repeal an Ordinance entitled the Washington, Virginia Town Ordinance, which was enacted on March 7,1946.
The following is the full text of the proposed Ordinance: AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL THE WASHINGTON. VIRGINIA TOWN ORDINANCE ENACTED
MARCH 7,1948
WHEREAS It appears that the Town qf Washington, Virginia mnacted an Or(finance entitled the Washington, Virginia Town Ordinance on March 7, 1940,and
WHEREAS subsequent Ordinances enacted by the Town Ceuncl have superceded the aforementioned Washington, Virginia Town Ordinance, and
WHEREAS the enforcement provisions contained within the qforesaid Washington, Virginia, Virginia Town Ordinance are no longer in effect,
ROW THEREFORE, the Town Council qf the Town qf Washington, Virginia does hereby repeal the Washington, Virginia Town Ordinance qf March 7,1940.
