James Alexander
James Estridge Alexander, 94, of Boston, died Jan. 25 at the Culpeper Health Care Center.
A native of Madison County, Mr. Alexander was a self-employed farmer.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary B. Aylor of Boston, Virginia Aylor and Helen A. Haney, both of Falls Church, five sons, James I., Walter E. and Russell L. Alexander, all of Washington, D.C., Luther H. and Linwood D. Alexander, both of Culpeper, 32 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Other survivors include two sisters, three brothers and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted Jan. 29 at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Brightwood, by Rev. Charles Wormley of Fredericksburg. Interment was at the family section of the church cemetery at Brightwood.
