It is not the policy of the Rappahannock News, however, to allow the “Letters to the editor” column to become a forum for individuals to give public vent to private grievances. Letters should be directed to nuitters of public concern.

To the editor:
The Jan. 21 issue of the Rappahannock News contained an article written by Mrs. Peggy Banker concerning the taking of a deer.
The taking of the deer was completely legal in all respects. If Mrs. Banker believes that an illegal act was committed then she should bring criminal charges immediately.
In the meantime, while the weather is bad, I advise Mrs. Banker to watch the local papers for rentals because I do not believe her lease will be renewed in 1988.
