Lisa Ann Day, 22, of 1216 Meander Drive, Culpeper, remains in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit of University of Virginia Medical Center following a one-vehicle accident Friday night on Rt. 522.
According to Trooper R. A. Baines, who investigated the crash, Ms. Day was .southbound toward Culpeper in a 1981 Chevrolet LUV pickup when she lost control of the truck on a curve one-half mile south of Rt. 604 near the RappahannockCulpeper county line.
Trooper Baines said that his investigation indicated that the truck ran off the southbound shoulder, then veered back across the road
