Don’t try to sell it to me like that!
A double lane highway between Washington and Sperryville is not what Rappahannock County needs, as long as there is no bypass around Sperryville. The new “monster of concrete” will create a bottleneck in Sperryville.
To make Rt. 211 safer it would be sufficient to post a speed limit of 45 mph which has to be ENFORCED. The trouble right now comes from drivers who go 75 mph and 50 mph through the flashing lights in front of the high school!
