meeting Feb. 8
The Special Education Advisory Committee for the Rappahannock County Public Schools will meet on Monday, Feb. 8, at the School Board office.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for comments on the 1988-89 Special Education Annual School Plan. The plan includes funding requests, policies and procedures concerning special education and related services provided by the school division.
Any citizens with questions and or recommendations about special education and related services in Rappahannock County should contact Kathleen Calvert at the School Board office (987-8773) by Feb. 4.
All Special Education Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public.
The 1988-89 Annual Special Education Plan is now available for public review’ at the School Board Office. All parents, guardians, surrogates and other members of the general public are welcome to review this document prior to its application to the School Board for adoption. Upon adoption, the Plan will be forwarded to the State Department of Education.
