Ella Brinklow
Elle Mae Brinklow, 57, of Front Royal, died Feb. 8 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Mrs. Brinklow was born Sept. 23, 1930, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Snowdon and Ernie Shifflett Williams. She was employed by the Virginia Laundry and Cleaners in Front Royal.
Surviving are two sons, Grafton D. Brinklow Jr. of Shenandoah Shores and Douglas Lynwood Brinklow of Front Royal, two daughters, Connie Clatterbuck and Sherry Ryder of Front Royal, her stepgrandmother Lena Shifflett of Winchester, a brother Elwood Williams of Huntly, three sisters, Rosie Marie Seekford, Elizabeth Scott and Martha Jones of Front Royal, and nine grandchildren.
She was a member of Willis Chapel United Methodist Church, Huntly, where her funeral was conducted Feb. 11 by the Rev. Merlin Shorb. Burial was in the Willis Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Earl Stanley, Norman Hoverter, Mike Ramey, Lewis Norman, Carlan Brooks and Lynwood Williams.
