The General Educational Development (GED) Test for those persons who were once enrolled in school but who did not complete graduation requirements, will be given March 12. Testing will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. at the Warren County Vocational Center.
The tests, administered and supervised by the Adult Education Service of the Department of Education, are designed to measure the educational devlopment of individuals who left school before graduation.
The battery of five tests in English Composition, Social Studies, Natural Science, Literature and Mathematics is designed to measure the major skills that result from study in a four-year high school curriculum.

By achieving satisfactory scores (m GED tests adults may earn a high School equivalency certificate, qualify for admission to college or advanced educational opportunities, meet educational requirements for ^Wiployment or promotion, or satisfy educational qualifications for induction in the United States Armed Forces.
