Players and helpers needed

Auditions for Alan Ayckbourn’s contemporary British comedy, Bedroom Farce, will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. Friday, April 8. The production is being co-sponsored by RAAC and the Rappahannock Players. Rehearsals will begin the week of April 11 and performances will be June 17,18 and 19 at the Gay St. Theatre. For more information see the notice outside the Gay St. Theatre. Calling artists and craftsmen

The Festival of American Craft, formerly held at Faith Mountain Company in Sperryville, has moved to Oldway Craft Village on Rt. 211 just west of Sperryville. Space limitations sparked the donation of the festival to Oldway, a new center devoted to demonstrating the old work skills of today’s craftsmen.

The festival will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 28 and 29, and applications are now being accepted from artists and craftspeople. Democrats caucus April 11

The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee will hold a caucus at 7:30 p.m. April 11 at the Courthouse in Washington. The purpose of the caucus is to elect delegates and alternates to the Seventh District and State Democratic Conventions. See the ad elsewhere in this paper for details.

Children’s Chorale scheduled

The Community Concert Association will present the Colorado Children’s Chorale on Tuesday, April 12, at 8 p.m. at the Culpeper High School auditorium. Gallery coffee house

DAR meeting

The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter NSDAR will meet on Tuesday, April 12, at 1:30 p.m. at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. The program will be “The First Families of America.” Hostesses are Mrs. Charles H. Estes and Mrs. Christine Johnson.
