GREENSBORO—Karen Jordan of Huntly, a sophomore forward, helped the women’s basketball team at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to a third-place finish in the NCAA Division III Tournament and a 26-7 record, during the 1987-88 season.
Miss Jordan was sixth leading scorer in a reserve role, averaging 6.9 points per game, and fifth leading rebounder, at 3.3 rebounds per game. She was top scorer in one game and top rebounder twice.
