The computer modeling “takes into account all the water conditions on that site,” Mr. Joyce replied.
Col. Bingham questioned whether Mr. Joyce was “presupposing” a single groundwater system when there’s “confusion between geologists” over whether the site contains several different systems.
“There’s no confusion on my part . . . We feel like there’s one system of water under that site,” countered the engineer, describing that single system as “shallow, flowing down gradient (and) dischanging into the drainage ways.”
