Community Concert Association members of the five-county area can expect an outstanding and appealing production for the fourth and final concert of the current series, according to an association spokesman. The Colorado Children’s Chorale will appear on Tuesday, April 12, at 8 p.m. in the Culpeper County High School Auditorium.
Developed from a children’s chorus formed in 1974 to appear in a Denver production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” the group, under the direction of Duain Wolfe, has grown steadily and has had engagements with the Central City Opera Festival, the Denver Symphony, and Opera Colorado as well as its own concerts.
The Chorale has expanded into five separate choruses based in Denver, involving 150 children in grades 2 through 8.
