15 years. She attended the University of Virginia and was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church. She was ex-president of Warren Rifle Chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy, ex-president of General Real Daughters Club and vice president of the board of trustees of Warren Rifles Confederate Museum. She and her late husband, Deward Edgar Walker, were the organizers of Col. John S. Mosbv Camp, SCV.
Surviving are two stepsons. Dr. Deward Walker Jr., Boulder, Colo, and Dr. Hill M. Walker, Eugene, Ore.; and two sisters, Ellie Byrd Coleman, Lynchburg and Sue Shuler, Minneapolis, Minn.
The funeral was held May 9 at Calvary Episcopal Church with the Rev. Thomas Clay officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
