The Executive Board of the
Rappahannock Farmers Market approved a leasing agreement on May 3 with the Flat wood Trust for the property on Route 211 next to the new Coop building where the Farmers Market will be held, beginning this weekend. In ceremonies scheduled for Saturday, May 12, at 10 a.m.. Col. E.P. Luke, chairman of the board of supervisors, and Bradford Fisher, vice-mavor of Washington, will cut the ribbon and officially open the market.

Miss Denise Lynne Wingfield,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis B. Wingfield of Sperryville, was graduated Saturday. May 5, 1934, from James Madison University in Harrisonburg. She was among the 1.700 who received their degrees at James Madison’s 75th annual commencement exercises. Miss Wingfield earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
