That’s not the ease anymore. Technology Education classes include everyone. And with the variety of subjects offered, who wouldn’t want to Explore Technology — which is the introductory level course.
The regional competition held at RCHS, one of five across the state, was a first for the county. Students from about a dozen Northern Virginia counties brought their projects and their advisors to Rappahannock for the day-long competition.
Students were separated into ability levels based on their grade level and courses completed in certain fields. In others, they competed against everyone else. There were drag races, and debates, and a business meeting.
And how did Rappahannock’s Technology Education students fare against their peers in the regional competitions? Very well.
