camped at Jess Rock near Kings Crossing, weekend home of Mrs. Jesse Curtis of Occoquon from the 18th through the 22nd. Other friends camping were Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraf and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Timms of Colonial Beach, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Shepherd of Fairview Beach and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gay and children Michael and Erin of Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz returned home Monday after attending their grandson Gianni D’Ottarios high school graduation in Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Caldow accompanied the Schultzs as far as Clinton, Iowa where they visited with relatives. En route to Iowa the Schultzs and Caldowrs visited Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Seiling in Mahomet, 111.

The community would like to express their appreciation to the American Legion Post 53 of Front Royal for placement of the flags at the Washington Masonic Cemetery in honor of our veterans on Monday, Memorial Day.
