I have no fears about the schools co-opting my right to educate her - she already has all the information that will be offered at the FLE’s kindergarten level. She didn’t get it in lectures from Mom and Dad, she got it in answers to questions that were prompted by her experiences in life.
And yes, she knows the anatomically correct terms for body parts. I cannot for the life of me comprehend how else a responsible parent would reply when asked by a child “What’s that?”
I suspect those who answer in cutesy euphemisms also persist in talking baby talk long past the time when children deserve - and, need — to hear proper pronunciation and proper grammar.
