Mr. Benjamin Estes of North Carolina spent the weekend with Mrs. Lee Swindler and Annabelle Swindler.
Mrs. Lee Swindler hosted a birthday dinner for Annabelle Swindler on Wednesday night at Skyline. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swindler, Bobette Swindler, Margaret Devers and Margaret Ann Wayland.
Buddy Devers of Front Royal will be the guest speaker at the r^Sperryville United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 4, at 10. The public is invited to attend.
Mr. and Mrs. Helmut Lunz visited Mrs. Harald Havstad and son Peter recently. While here they took a weeks trip to Canada. They are taking a two weeks bus tour to San Fransico. After leaving there, they will return to their home in Ettlingten, West Germany.
Mrs. Cotton Miller hosted the Sperryville Bridge Club last Friday night at her home. Those present were Mrs. Lucia Kilby, Mrs.- Mariam Reeves. Mrs. Edna Metzinger. Mrs. Mary Q. Snead, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Helen Brown, Mrp. Lucy Ann Maeyer, Mrs. Jean McNear, Mrs. Dot Estes, Mrs. Virginia Lindstrom and Mrs. Ruth Keyser.
Prize winners were Mrs. Keyser, Mrs. Snead, Mrs. Maeyer, Mrs. Metzinger and Mrs. McNear.
