According to the Hagers-Toum Town and Country Almanack, this is the outlook for June.

June weather watch: Look for above average temperatures but with average precipitation. Days will be fair and warm 1, 2; 11-15. Outlook is for very warm 6-8 and 1921. Expect some precipitation in the form of showers 3-5 (scattered): 9, 10; 16-18 (scattered); 26-28. Conditions will be stormy 22 , 23. The month ends warm and humid 29 and 30.

Tornado watch: Residents of areas in the Mid-Atlantic states are advised to be on the lookout from the 10th through the 19th.

Summer Stolstice: Welcome those summer days as the Sun enters Cancer on the 21st at 4:53 a.m.

Full moon occurs this month on the 19th at 1:57 a.m. Referred to by some as the flower moon, in honor of the many roses and other beautiful blooms of this month, others name it the strawberry moon, no doubt thinking of those luscious “short cakes” and “homemade” ice cream provided by this glorious fruit.
