Flexercise classes
An eight-week series of flexercise classes will begin Jan. 8. Classes will be held, 6 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Cost is $40 for twice a week. Beginners are welcome. Contact Rose Ann Sharp at 675-3887 after 6 p.m. for more information.
Children's karate classes
A 12-week series of children’s karate classes for ages 6-14 will begin January 17. Classes will be held, 5:15 p.m.-6:10 p.m., Wednesdays at the Child Care and Learning Center (advanced students until 6:30 p.m.). Cost is $65 for 12 sessions. For more information call CC1*C at 675-3237.
United Way annual meeting
The United Way of Culpeper Inc. will hold its annual meeting, noon, Jan. 25 at the Aberdeen Bam at Holiday Inn. The meeting will consist of lunch (dutch treat), end-of-year reports and election of officers. The public is invited. To reserve lunch call United Way office, 825-7615 by Jan. 23.
Little League Association meeting
The Rappahannock Little League Association has cancelled their Jan. 11 meeting, and it has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m., Jan. 18 at Rappahannock County High School. For additional information, call A1 Kellert at 937-4869.
Children's dance classes
The Child Care and Learning Center will be sponsoring a 12-week series of children’s dance classes at the Center. Classes will be held on Saturdays beginning Jan. 13. Classes will be held from 9:15 a.m.-10 a.m. for ages 3-5 and 10 a.m.-ll a.m. for ages 6-11. Class fee is $54 for 12 sessions. Murder Mystery at The School
House
A murder mystery dinner show will be held at The School House Restaurant and Inn, Flint Hill, Friday, Jan. 19. All murder mysteries include a three-course meal for $49.95. Mystery starts promptly at 7 p.m., with a clue-gathering cocktail hour. Mystery ends around 10 p.m. For reservations call The School House at 675-3030.
