Monthly dancing planned

A series of 12 monthly evenings of Contra, Folk and Square Dancing is planned to celebrate the new decade of the Nineties. An organizing meeting and the first montly dance is planned for 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 11 at Blackwater Homestead off U.S. 522 near Boston and Castleton. Parenting group in Culpeper

Transit System funding

The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Center will hold a public hearing, 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, to seek input and comments on its application for continued funding for its Transit System through UMTA Section 18. This hearing will be conducted at the Center’s offices, 401 South Main Street, Culpeper.

Support group meeting
