Many older Americans whose future may include a stay in a nursing home have poor information about what to expect, said Bruce A. Hundley, social security manager in Culpeper.
In a recent insurance industry survey, people were asked to estimate the average age of someone entering a nursing home, the length of stay, nursing home costs, and the amount covered by Medicare.
