Her husband, Edward Sherman Nicholson Sr., died on July 15,1979.

Surviving are three sons, Edward S. Nicholson Jr. of Stephens City, Tunney G. Nicholson of Powhatan and William D. Nicholson of Gilroy, Ca.; three daugthers, Pauline Dodson of Winchester, Dorothy Nichols of Stephens City and Juanita F. Scott of Fresno, Ca.; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen greatgrandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four sisters, Mae Settle of Rileyville,

Bertie Hackley, Mattie Hackley and Florine Smith, all of Amissville; and four brothers, Eugene Dodson of Viewtown, Acrey Dodson of Amissville, Robert Dodson of Bealeton and Milton Dodson of Aurora, Co.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11 at Omps Funeral Home in Winchester, with the Rev. Edward Messick officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Melvin Tinsman, David R. Smith, Dan R. Smith, Tony W. Dodson, Robert M. Dodson, Jr., Clarence W. Dodson, Charles H. Hackley and Billy R. Dodson.
