A funeral was Jan. 8 at GeestJohnson Funeral Home in Culpeper, with burial in Washington Masonic Cemetery. The Rev. Paul Markee officiated, assisted by the Rev. John Burke and Rev. Kirby Shenk.
Pallbearers were George Coppage Jr., William Breitenbach, Levi Southard, Bill Racer, G.O. Lyon, James Bailey, John Grove and John Lee Coppage.
Nellie Nicholson
Nellie Frances Dodson Nicholson, 85, of Stephens City died Jan. 6 in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Nicholson was born Sept. 14, 1904, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late George Ernest and Neva Florence Nicholson Dodson. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Ninevah.
