charged with underage possession of alcohol.

The ABC investigator said that the violations report prepared by his agents will be sent to the ABC office in Richmond, where it will be reviewed and assigned to a hearing officer. That officer will conduct a hearing, taking testimony from the ABC agents as well as Horseshoe Hills owner James Russell and manager Roger Taylor.

Following that hearing, a penalty will be assessed for the violations, the investigator said. That could range from a fine, a temporary ABC license suspension, or a permanent revocation of the license. The ABC board in Richmond must affirm any penalty set by the hearing officer, he added.

Sisk and Daczewitz will appear in General District Court on Feb. 6 to answer the misdemeanor charges against them. Corbin’s court date has been set for Feb. 13. No date has been set for the restaurant’s ABC hearing.

The investigator added that violations of the state’s alcohol laws, whether involving on-site or off-premises sales or consumption, may be reported by calling the ABC’s violations hotline, tollfree, (800) 552-3200.
