Applications for Certificates of Appropriateness, which are required for any exterior alterations or additions within Washington’s Historic District, must be submitted to the county Zoning Office at least two weeks prior to the ARB’s meeting in order to be considered. Meetings are held, 8 p.m., the third Thursday of each month at the courthouse. The public is invited to attend.
