Mrs. Mary Priest enjoyed a “grandmother party” on Friday at the home of Mrs. Frances Semones. The party was hosted by Mrs. Semones, Mrs. Betty Jenkins, and Mrs. Elladene Leibold. Gifts were presented to Mary for her first grandchild. The Priests’ son, Robert, and his wife, Maggie, are expecting their first child later this month.
Mrs. Elva Compton and Mrs. Anna Fincham enjoyed a visit Friday from Mrs. Mary O’Bannon, Mrs. Evelyn Hawkins, and her son Bill of Warrenton.
Louella Smith enjoyed a visit last • Wednesday with Goldie and Carl Yates in Woodstock and with her sister, Wanda Dawson, in Marshall on Saturday. On Friday evening Ca-*thy and Carrington Smith were dinner guests of Jo Ann and Gary Saas at the seafood restaurant 220 Club in Winchester.
