Rappahannock News photo/Lou Hatter SLICK ROADS WERE BLAMED for these two accidents on Route 231 one mile north of Route 707 last Thursday morning, Jan. 4. The first accident, according to Trooper R.E. Keen, involved Susan Allen of Etlan, who was southbound when she lost control of her 1989 Honda and hit the guardrail. A few minutes later, Esther Jenkins of Madison was travelling north when she lost control of her 1985 Honda sedan and ran off the road, hit the embankment and overturned. Neither driver was injured, and no charges were filed.
