NOTICE OF
ROAD ABANDONMENT
In accordance with S33.1-157 and S33.1-158 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, notice is hereby given of the intent of the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County to abandon a section of old county road running along and through the properties of Brown Compton (TM 41-38), Ellis J. Jenkins et ux. (TM 41-26C), George Lee et ux (TM 41-26C) and Mont Ellery, Inc., a Virginia Corporation (TM 41-37), said roadway being shown in red on a sketch entitled “Proposed Abandonment of a Section of Old County Road in the Vicinity of State Route 619,” dated May 16, 1990, said sketch being on file in the office of the County Administrator for Rappahannock County, Virginia. The Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday, August 6, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. to consider an appropriate resolution abandoning the above described roadway. This notice is being published in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper of general circulation within the County of Rappahannock, Virginia; is being posted at the front door of the County Courthouse for Rappahannock County, and is being posted in at least three places along and on the road proposed to be abandoned, as is required by S33.1-158 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended.
