The Washington Town
Council adopted a dog ordinance during its meeting on Wednesday, July 10, designed to alleviate the town’s problems with roaming or stray dogs. The ordinance prohibits owners from letting their dogs roam freely through town. Owners are required to keep their dogs on their property or on a leash of six and a half feet, or less, in length.
A representative from the Federal Communications Commission will be at the Black Kettle Restaurant on Wednesday, July 31, at 7 p.m. to discuss problems with television reception in the town. The public and TV service people are encouraged to attend.
