Both sides were waiting to hear the decision by 20th Judicial Circuit Judge Thomas Horne late Monday after a two-hour hearing Friday in which the Board of Directors for Wakefield School requested a temporary restraining order to keep Clydetta Lynn from evicting them.
Judge Home heard arguments Friday from lawyer Glen Sedam, representing the board, and attorneys for Clydetta Lynn, Pamela Lynn and William Beeton Jr.
Pamela Lynn co-founded Wakefield School in Huntly with her late husband, Dr. William Lynn Jr., almost 20 years ago. Following his death two years ago Pamela Lynn served as acting headmaster. She conveyed control of the school to the independent Board of Directors in Spring 1990, at which time Dr. Alan Saunders was hired as the school’s president (equivalent to the old post of headmaster).
