Skills-building group meets

A Women’s life skills-building group meets from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday evenings at a downtown Culpeper location. For more details contact Dotty Larson at SAFE, 703-825-8876.

Craft show planned

The Culpeper Extension Homemakers will hold their 20th Annual craft show on Saturday, Oct. 5. Since the show is held inside the Homemakers Building it will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Culpeper Ag. Enterprise grounds Rt. 29 S., Culpeper. Spaces are available to Culpeper and surrounding areas crafters. The large building, ample parking, rest rooms, and all day snack bar make it an ideal spot to display and sell crafts. Soccer games

Pick up soccer games are held at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays at Rappahannock High field through the summer. For information call 987-9006.

Feast Fantastic to be held

Shenandoah Feast Fantastic will be held at the 4-H Educational Center in Front Royal from noon until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Camp Fantastic and YES - Youth Experience & Success.

Sample food from 30 or more Shenandoah Valley restaurants without moving more than a few steps. Area eateries will prepare their best known specialty dishes for patrons to savor. Diners can roam and sample a wide variety of food with a maximum cost of $2.50 per dish. Live entertainment and special activities are planned for this festive block party.

'The Frog Prince' to be shown

The nationally acclaimed Theatre IV brings the tale of “The Frog Prince” to life at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, in the Warrenton Junior High auditorium. Hilarious adventure abounds in this fulfilled musical treat for the young at heart.
