A full slate of activities is planned in Rappahannock County during the Fourth of July holiday.
The day of events in Washington is capped off with a grand display of fireworks at the Carrigan’s at dusk.
The annual events in town associated with the day’s festivities include the Rappahannock Library book sale at the old library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., ice cream and used goods at Trinity Church, crafters, music, food and drink and children’s games.
At noon Waldron O’Connor will read from historic American documents in a costume of the colonial period, followed by a performance by the Rappahannock Colonial Dancers.
