RAA baseball
season ends The Rappahannock Athletic Association ended its regular season last week with regular season champions crowned in several divisions. The Ballymena Stables Orioles won the Major League with a 10-2 record. However, L.G. ZindePs Astros, 8-4, upset them in the tourney to win the title. In the Minor League, Brumett Construction’s Dodgers finished 11-1 to take the regular season title. The tournament will be held July 8 at Pullen Field and July 15 at Stuart Field. Mrs. Smith’s Bears won the TBall division with a 10-2 record. For information on the other tournaments planned, call Roger Dowell at 703-825-5529.
