The board had asked County Administrator John McCarthy to propose a fee schedule that would increase income from fees by 15 percent to make the building office self-supporting.
Mr. McCarthy said these new fees would accomplish that goal if applications picked up.
A proposed fee of $100 for a permit to move a structure, an increase from the current rate of $25 was amended to leave the rate at $25 for small buildings and increase it to $100 for buildings with more than 500 square feet.
The fee for renewing a building permit when construction is not completed in six months was increased from $15 to $25,
