Registration is being conducted for boys 16-18 interested in playing summer baseball, 2 p.m.-5 p.m. May 9 at Stuart Field in Amissville. The season starts following summer recess.

Literacy hosts reception
The county's volunteer literacy group, LVA-Rappahannock, will hold a reception to celebrate completion of its meeting room in the basement of the new county library, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, May 10.
The reception will be held in the general purpose room on the first floor of the library, on U.S. 211-522 in Washington. The public is invited.
