In below photo, Wakefield Country Day student Nick Konick presents headmaster Pam Lynn with the trophy won by the school’s Latin I Certamen team April 4 in Waynesboro. Other team members, from left: Andrew Nilan, Aram Kalpakgian and Laura Cowherd. The squad defeated teams from Wakefield School in Marshall and Lexington High School. The Wakefield CDS teams at the Latin II and Latin III-IV levels placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
