To the Editor:
On behalf of the Rappahannock County Recreational Facilities Authority, I wish to extend my apologies to the Flint Hill, Washington and Sperryville volunteer rescue squads for our failure to acknowledge their efforts in support of the Fodderstack 10-K Race.
Without the support provided by the volunteer fire and rescue companies, it would be impossible to ensure the well-being of participants in the race. Their willingness to sacrifice their Saturday morning was greatly appreciated.
Once again, our apologies for the oversight, and many thanks, once again.
