A memorial service was held Saturday, May 2 at Christ Episcopal Church and burial was in the family section at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church cemetery.

Clatterbuck

Herman N. Clatterbuck, 65, of Amissville, died Thursday, April 30.

Mr. Clatterbuck was a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church, chairman of the Trustees. He was a World War II veteran and retired from the Warrenton Training Center.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Clatterbuck; his children, Barbara Manuel and Larry Clatterbuck, both of Amissville and Tony Clatterbuck of Warrenton; six grandchildren; one step-grandchild and three sisters, Lorena Tumlin of Aroda, Mary Holmes of Amissville and Monture Frazier of Castleton.

Funeral services were held Sunday, May 3 at the Amissville United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Peter Weems and Rev. Lewis Holmes officiated.
