' Sweet and sour lamb meatballs About 100 meatballs. 3 pounds lean groun lamb 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs 2 eggs 1/2 cup bouillon or water 11/2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 jar (10 ounces) or 1 1/4 cups sweet and sour sauce 1 can (8 1/4 ounces) crushed pineapple and juice 1/2 cup chopped green onions 1/2 cup diced green pepper 1/4 cup carrot, grated 3 tablespoons vinegar 3 tablespoons soy sauce Combine lamb, bread crumbs, eggs, bouillon or water, salt and pepper, mix thoroughly. Shape lamb mixture into meatballs about 3/4inch in diameter. Place meatballs on cookie sheet with sides. Broil 7 to 10 minutes, shaking pan gently to cook and brown evenly. Remove from oven and drain excess fat. Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, combine sweet and sour sauce, pineapple and juice, onion, green pepper, carrots, vinegar, and soy sauce. Simmer about 20 minutes.
