Band has
been active
To the Editor
The Rappahannock County High School band does various things in and around the county to positively represent the school. They participate in a number of parades in and out of the county. They have participated in district band festivals. They have, in many of these activities, brought back honors. School concerts are given periodically, which are open and free to all attending. This band is still under organization and its goal is to purchase new uniforms. By next fall the band director wants to initiate a flag squad and have instruments in the percussion section.
We would appreciate any support that you can give to this up-andcoming organization. You can support us by attending any concerts that are being given. Also the group would be happy and grateful to accept any tax-deductible donations to get us started.
